The strategy is semi-systematic, meaning all of the decisions are made using a combination of code and human-based decisions. The initial selection of stocks is based on a proprietary algorithm, which uses a combination of fundamental and technical data and also data from the most successful hedge funds in the world using their 13F filings. Afterward, I apply my own overlays and tweaks by considering the technology themes that I believe are most probable to shape our future in the next 5 years, such as Digital Payments, Artificial Intelligence, Gene Sequencing, and Blockchain.

Objective
The objective of the portfolio is to beat the Nasdaq on a 5-year period basis. This is done by concentrating the portfolio to around 8-10 companies that have the most promising products. They trade at a reasonable price and are ran by exceptional leadership. The performance is measured on a risk-adjusted basis. Risk is controlled by increasing allocation to large-cap companies when the valuation of the overall market becomes too rich.

Should I copy open trades?Yes. We have a very long holding period so we advise copying open trades (keep the ‘copy open trades’ box checked).

What's the objective of the portfolio?The aim of this portfolio is to beat the Nasdaq-100 in 5-year periods. Nasdaq returned on average about 14% per year in the last 10 years. Please note that past performance is no guarantee of future results, because it always depends on market conditions (i.e. pandemics, trade wars, etc.).

What does it cost me to copy?Copy Trading requires no additional costs. As a popular investor, I earn a salary from eToro based primarily on the assets under my management.

Is it a good time to start the copy now or add adittional funds?It's always a good time to add to the portfolio. I continuously monitor it on a daily basis and if the analysis indicates that a company doesn't have much upside in the long term, I immediately exclude it. Usually, a good practice is to add a percentage of your income every month. I created some investment plans here. You can plug in different initial investments and monthly contributions and see where you could be in 10 years. When there's a good opportunity to add additional funds on top of the monthly contributions, I am sending a notification to let the copiers know.
